Ready to unlock the secret to effortlessly stylish rooms? We call it the Five Senses Formula and it's about learning how to make sure your home flirts with all five!
Smell: Your Room’s Invisible Signature
Let’s start with scent, because honestly, the first thing anyone notices isn’t always what they see—it’s that whiff in the air. Want luxurious vibes? Layer on the candles, diffusers, and a secret stash of scented sachets. Another secret tip? Consider a seasonal remix. Think florals for spring, citrus for summer, spiced for fall, and woodsy for winter.

Sound: Set the Mood, Darling
Who says a room can’t have a soundtrack? Don’t be shy—let your guitar, piano, or vintage vinyl collection double as art. Have a playlist ready for any mood—think jazz brunch, chilled-out evenings, or upbeat pre-party energy. Invest in wireless speakers that blend in, or even look like sculptural art. You want the sound, not the visual clutter!

Sight: All the Oohs and Ahhs
Go big, go bold, and show off who you are. Florals with stripes, or geometric with animal print? Yes, you absolutely can. Just keep a color connection for harmony. Pile coffee table books everywhere—color coordinated or wild and mismatched, they always add personality. Frame travel pics, prop up vintage finds, or showcase heirloom ceramics. There’s no such thing as ‘too much’ personality in your decor—let your home tell your story.
Touch: All the Feels
This is where style meets comfort, so pile it on! Rug on rug, in natural fibers and luxurious hand weaves underfoot. Balance natural wood with cool marble or glass; let different materials play off one another. Consider silky velvet pillows, chunky knits, and smooth linen throws. A supple leather armchair here and a nubby ottoman there—encourage guests to sit and stay a while.
Taste: Because Style Is Also Delicious
Taste is about savoring every moment—dinner night with family, tea time solo, or celebrations with friends. Wherever you sit, you deserve a spot for your coffee (or cocktail). Accent tables or even pretty trays are a must! And a designer must have -- beautifully curated tableware and textural linens where even everyday meals become an occasion.

And remember, in design, more really is more—so be sure you layer on all five!
